Eagle Golf Classic Tournament — Friday, May 29th at Shadow Valley Golf Course
2009 Eagle Golf Classic will be held at Shadow Valley Golf Course, 15711 Highway 55, Friday, May 29 starting at 1:00 pm.
The Eagle Golf Classic is one of the major fund raisers for the City of Eagle. Last year the Eagle Golf Classic raised over $12,000.00 for this community. The funds raised were used to assist a number of programs that benefited Eagle senior citizens and the needy children within our community.
Because of you we have been able to raise over $100,000 over the years to donate to local needy organizations. Some of the past recipients have included: Santa’s Helpers for Senior Citizens, Idaho River Kids, Walking the Talk for Teens, Friends of the Eagle Library, West Valley Little League, Eagle Hills Girl Scouts, Bridges School for Autistic Children, The Landing Teen Center to name a few.
All proceeds have been given to organizations specifically helping our local communities. These monies have been gratefully accepted and certainly put to good use.
We have 180 golfers participating in this event each year and always hear what a great tournament this is. We thank all former sponsors, we welcome new sponsors and we thank all of you for supporting this great community fund-raising event!
